Expect an unmissable event when Japfest Donington bursts back onto Donington Circuit in 2019!  Japfest Donington is the ultimate high performance event and is all about pushing the cars to their limits and delivering an adrenaline pumping, heart racing day out. 'Take on the track' with our Jap only track times, enjoy the amazing feature car displays from Fast Car Magazine, Banzai and Retro Japanese, the Show & Shine competition, the large retail village and not to forget the diverse range of Japanese cars on display from both individuals and clubs. 

Japfest Donnington takes place at Donington Park which is based in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Please respect the people who live there by driving safely and keeping noise to a minimum. We appreciate your consideration in advance.

Public Entry Tickets

Adult Advance (Day Ticket ONLY): £20

Adult Gate (Day Ticket ONLY): £25

Weekend Ticket inc entry to Japfest Donington and TRAX Donington (No Camping): £36

FREE entry for up to two children aged 14 and under when accompanied by a paying adult. Additional children £5 each. 

Additional Show Add Ons - please note show tickets must be purchased to qualifty for additional add on purchases 

Camping Pass:   Adult Advance: £15 (per person, per night)   Adult Gate: £15 (per person, per night)       Child £10 (per person, per night) 
 
Special Display:  £2 addition to show ticket (please note cars wishing to display at Japfest Donington must be Japaense marque)
 
Track Time: £25 - £30 (cost dependent on time)  
 
Advance tickets close midnight Saturday before the show. All bookings are subject to a £2.00 booking fee.

Disabled Visitors

As part of our commitment to make the show accessible to all we will provide those disabled ticket holders that require full time assistance with 1 free ticket for a partner, accompanying friend or personal assistant (PA). You will need to provide a copy of your most recent Personal Independence Payment form (PIP) showing your current entitlement and your ‘blue badge’ if car parking is required. On arrival at the show please liaise with the staff on the gates when presenting your entry ticket.

What time does the show open?

Gates are open to the public from 09:00 and closes at 5:30pm.

Will there be a cash point on site?

A cash point will not be available on-site. However cash-back is available from the entrance gate on admission.  

Are credit cards accepted on the gate?

Yes, credit cards can be used on the gate.

Is the event solely for Japanese cars?

Yes, it’s a show purely for Japanese cars.

Can I bring my pet?

No, to comply with venue rules no animals of any kind are allowed onto the site apart from guide dogs. 

Is there a bar on site?

Yes, there is a bar on site. No glass bottles are allowed on the site.

Are there food units on site?

There are many food units and a permanent on site cafeteria open throughout the day.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes you can bring food and drink in to the venue. Glass bottles are not permitted and will be confiscated at the main gate.

Will there be someone taking photos of the cars for me to purchase on the day?

Yes there will be a photographer on site, more information will be found in our show guide.

Are BBQ’s allowed on site?

No, BBQ’s are not permitted at the show. However, charcoal BBQs that are off ground are allowed in the camping area.

How can I buy a ticket?

Tickets booking is coming soon! Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. 

I have booked my tickets can I add children to my order?  Yes. All tickets are available to purchase on the gate. If you are a full paying adult, please show your tickets to the marshals on the gate. Two children under 14 years old qualify as FREE. 
Do I have to print the tickets?  The tickets are valid printed off OR on your smart phone, as long as the barcode is clear 
Can I purchase tickets on the phone?  All tickets are purchased online through our ticketing system. If you have any problems please give us a call on 01959 541444 or email shows@kelsey.co.uk 

Can I get a refund for my tickets once I've bought them?

Will I be able to buy a ticket on the gate?

Yes you can buy tickets on the gate from 9:00am 

Do I need to bring ID with me to gain entry? 

Yes. You will need to bring with you the card you purchased the tickets with and photo ID card (such as your driving licence) along with your ticket celarly printed or viewable on yoiur mobile phone to gain entry. If you are unable to provide sufficent ID or your ticket has already been scanned, you will be asked to pay the full entry price on the gate

What do I do if I want to buy a ticket for a gift?

You will be asked during the transaction who you are buying the ticket for, you must type in the recipient’s name here. They should bring the confirmation email, ticket and relevant ID to confirm they're the named recipient given during the order.

My tickets haven’t arrived yet when will I get them?

Tickets are emailed out to you upon confirmation of payment.  Please check your junk or spam folder just in case. If you have not received your ticket please contact a member of our team 
What if I haven’t received my ticket and I am on my way to the show?

If you haven’t received your ticket and you are on the way to the event don’t panic! There is a ticket collection point located on the grass before the barriers in a hut. 

Do I have to purchase a ticket for my child?

Entry is FREE for two children aged 14 and under when accompanied by a paying adult. Additional children are £5 each. You are responsible for any children who attend the event with you and you must ensure that they comply with these terms and conditions

Is there car parking available?

Yes, there is a public car park available free of charge

Is there disabled parking?

Yes, there is a disabled parking area, please ask on the gate for a pass and the marshalls will direct you

Is there any way that I can park my car in the show rather than in the public car park?

Yes, as part of a club display or by entering the Show & Shine competition. If you are not part of a club or Show & Shine please purchase an Individual Display ticket.

Can I take passengers out on the track with me?

Yes, subject to certain restrictions. Passenger tickets can be purchased when you are booking track time at a cost of £10. Only one front seat passenger is permitted aged 18 and over per car and they must sign an indemnity form prior to the session.

Do I need a driving licence to take my car on the track?

Yes, you will be required to show your full UK or other EU state driving licence.

My licence is away at the DVLA/Police, can I bring a photocopy?

No, a full original driving licence needs to seen be when signing-on.

Is helmet hire available on the day or do I need to bring my own?

We advise you to bring your own British Standard-approved helmet where possible. Donington has a limited number available for hire. In order to do this you will need to leave your credit card with us as a deposit. Helmets are mandatory for drivers and passengers and helmet straps must be securely done up. 

Is it possible to purchase track time on the day?

Demand is high for Japfest Donington track time and it usually sells out in advance, as such we strongly advise that if you want to get out on track you book as soon as possible

Can we camp the night before? 

There is camping on site at Donington on Friday before the show. You can enter from 12.00 noon until 10.00pm. Camping tickets are per person and children DO need a camping ticket. 

Are there toilets on site for campers? 

Yes, there are plenty of toilets on site open 24hrs 

Are there showers on site?

Yes, there will be shower and toilet facilties available on site along with water points 

Are there electrical connections on site? 

Yes, there are electrical hook ups available - these are on a first come, first served basis. 

Can I bring my campervan? 

Yes, campervans are allowed on site but please note there is a limited amount of hardstanding otherwise camping is on grass. 

Can I have a BBQ?

Yes, charcoal BBQs are allowed within the campsites. You can also bring a gas stove

Are there food units on site?

There are many food units and a permanent on site cafeteria open throughout the day

Can I have a fire? 

No, there are no open fires permitted on site

Are there medical servies on site? 

Yes there are 24 hour medical services on site if needed

Can I park next to my tent?

Yes, you can park next to your tent

Can I leave the site the come back in?

Yes, but you will need a pass out ticket and will not be allowed out after 8.00pm

Do children require a camping ticket?  Yes, children aged 14 and under will also require a camping ticket. Child camping tickets can be purchased in advance or on the gate .
