VTEC Challenge

Just when you think this year’s Japfest cannot get any bigger, there’s another new attraction added and this time it’s in the form of the VTEC Challenge race series.

The Honda only series will be giving a full-throttled demo session at the show, so expect to hear plenty of high-revving VTEC engines as they battle it out on the famous Silverstone tarmac.

The popular series was launched in 2011 to provide a fun and friendly race event for those wishing to take their first step into racing and also to assist those wanting a Honda only race series.

This entry-level competition is open to all Honda models including the CR-X, Civic, Integra, Accord, Prelude and S2000.

So if you’re thinking about getting into racing, or just want to salivate over some seriously sorted Hondas, pop over to the VTEC Challenge Paddock and have a chat with the friendly competitors who make up the grid.
